Moonstone Block Management Limited is a new business started in January 2022 by Deborah Murphy. It is privately owned by Deborah and her aim is to offer a professional, friendly and personal service to all clients, no matter how big or small the block is. Deborah has over 20 years experience in the property industry.
For the last 9 years Deborah has worked for a company as a Director overseeing a team of 6 and managing in excess of 1800 units. This company was sold in July 2021.
She is now taking with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in the property management sector. At Moonstone we are utilising what she felt worked and what didn’t work from companies she had worked for. Moving forward we will now utilise this knowledge and use it to ensure that the developments are looked after in the most beneficial way for residents and owners alike.
Amazingly it is not legally necessary for block management companies to belong to any regulatory body at all. Deborah firmly believes that our industry should be much more regulated which is why Moonstone will become an associate member of ARMA until it can become a corporate member after two years trading. It is likely that regulation will come sooner rather than later and when it does, Moonstone will be perfectly placed to thrive in the industry.
At Moonstone we bring a great depth of knowledge and experience. Acting upon this knowledge and experience, we aim to look after developments with owners and residents’ best interests at heart. Our guiding principle in all types of residential management is “What would I do if I were the owner?” and ensures that they are managed as though they are our own homes, and this results in a “first class” service for all.
Regardless of the query in hand, Moonstone’s proactive approach will ensure a timely and effective solution or outcome.
We encourage the use of local contractors who have the relevant experience, aiming to build a relationship with them to offer reduced costs and a speedier service.
We will visit each and every block at least once per month to ensure the high standard of its upkeep is maintained.
